Actresses are often praised in the media for making a fast transition from baby bump to big-screen-ready body after giving birth, but two of Hollywood’s leading ladies are urging women to accept their post-pregnancy bodies and celebrate what they’ve accomplished instead.

Anne Hathaway, who gave birth to her first child in March, and Blake Lively, who’s now pregnant with her second, have both spoken out about accepting the changes that come with motherhood.
On Monday, Anne Hathaway dropped some serious words of inspiration amid her weight loss journey following the birth of her son, Jonathan Rosebanks, with husband Adam Shulman.
“I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty wonderful”, she said.
She also included the hashtags #noshame and #lovewhatyouhavebeengiven. “Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise)”.
She added that she’d told a trainer at her gym that she’d recently had a baby, but didn’t quite get the reaction she expected.
‘It’s been 15 years (say it with me) SHUT UP! “I’m like, yeah, I work out with five-pound weights, but I pushed a baby out of my body so I feel good right now!”

After the encounter, Hathaway revealed she “cried a little bit”.
