Atlus’s description revels in the silly excuses to turn Persona 4 into a rhythm game.

Atlus’ dancing/rhythm game spin off for its popular Persona 4, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, will be launching exclusively on the PlayStation Vita in north America on September 29, much like had been rumoured back when the game’s release was officially confirmed for western territories.

Members of Kanamin Kitchen, Rise’s junior idol group, have disappeared and it’s up to the Investigation team to mount a rescue mission – only they discover the same monstrous Shadows from the Midnight Channel. To help celebrate this announcement they have released a new trailer showcasing Kanami Mashita in the game. A Disco Fever Edition will also be adailable at $79.99 and includes a 2-disc soundtrack, a full-color Teddie enameled pouch, costume DLC, and an adorable Teddie keychain. This is probably the biggest PS Vita release of the year, meaning I can’t tell if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. The team enters the Midnight Stage where Shadows have taken over, but you won’t be able to use Bufudyne here since everyone’s Personas are ineffective.
