Though this feature was first introduced in iPhone 5, users had to compromise quality and speed if they attempted to use the phone’s camera for the objective. There is said to be a barometer inside for tracking elevation via Apple’s Health app, too. Additionally, the iPhone 6 line registered a 14% ascent in ASP in 2014.
Other recent reports have claimed Apple is doing away with the headphone jack, including a bigger battery and making the iPhone 7 thinner than its predecessor. This seemingly small difference in the average price of the company’s smartphone is extremely critical for Apple – which thrives on its ability to charge a high premium for its product despite the availability of lower priced options from other vendors. On the software side of things, the phone will get support for larger panoramas, autofocus for videos, Live Photos (from iPhone 6S), and the usual silver, space gray, silver, and rose gold colours. Apple analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray, for one, stated that sales of the current flagships might go as low as 50 million this year.
Instead of a completely revamped watch, Apple could announce a number of new band colors at a spring event along with possibly the “iPhone 5se.” If it’s not, then Apple may opt for a simple online announcement its iPhone 5se and new Apple Watch bands.
