Haye: Fury needs my name
On December 12, at the 02 in the capital, he faces bitter rival in Dillian Whyte (16-0, 13KO’s) a fight in defence of his Commonwealth and WBC International belts, with the vacant British title on the line also.

Fury stunned boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf on Saturday night, recording a unanimous points victory to snatch the Ukrainian’s WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO belts off him.
Fury says he will vacate a title rather than fight a man who twice cancelled bouts with him.
“Absolutely point-blank, I will say Haye will never get a chance after what he did to me”, he said. “All these little things that they thought might affect fighters in the past but it didn’t phase me one bit”.
“I don’t feel like some god or a king, I’m just a normal person who got lucky last night”.
“If people don’t like it, change the channel”, said Fury, still sporting a bruise above his right eye from Saturday’s fight. I was playing games in there.
“I went home dehydrated because I was so frightened of being tested and failing the test because they’ve given me something”.
Fury believes teaming up with his trainer and uncle Peter in January 2012 saved his boxing career as he was close to retiring. “I was fat, out of shape, 24 stone, I didn’t think I was going to go anywhere because I wasn’t taking it seriously”.
“I was missing my speed today and I struggled with his reach”. I got beaten and I lost the battle but I did not lose the fighter.
“It was very emotional in the ring, I was riding a highway, it was an fantastic feeling”, he told The Telegraph.
“I was staying out late drinking and going out clubbing and all that sort of stuff”. I’m just thinking about life at the moment and enjoying Christmas coming up. “It is still early and I have to process things but there will definitely be a rematch”. Fury asked. “Let’s laugh at his name, shall we?”
The build-up to the fight had been colourful and controversial, ranging from Fury’s appearance at a United Kingdom news conference dressed as Batman to threats by the Briton that he would pull out of the contest altogether due to issues over gloves and the ring canvas.

“I came here to Germany, in the lion’s den, so I’ve done a good job against Wladimir Klitschko”, said Fury, who added, “my Lord, my rock, my Savior, my salvation gave me the glory tonight”.
