Hayne back to National Rugby League with Gold Coast
The Titans scheduled a media conference for Wednesday.

Essentially, Foran’s money would be used to attract Hayne back to his former club.
Channel 9 reporter Danny Weidler, who is close to the Hayne camp, confirmed the signing.
Serial code-hopper Jarryd Hayne has put the disappointment of missing out on Fiji’s Olympic rugby seven’s squad by signing for the Gold Coast Titans, according to club ambassador Gordon Tallis.
Hayne would still need to have his contract registered by the NRL but it’s understood the Titans are keen to get their marquee signing playing as soon as possible and no doubt the “sold out” signs would go up at Cbus Super Stadium if he plays against the Warriors on Sunday.
But the Titans, who threw $2 million at Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans a year ago are believed to have upped the offer to snare Hayne as the biggest player signing in its history.
He returns to the NRL as an even bigger star than when he left the game.
“Whether they play him or not is a whole different thing, considering he’s not trained or prepared with them”.
After his thrilling and shock defection to the U.S. in 2014 to play gridiron with the San Francisco 49ers, Hayne briefly set the National Football League world on fire with a series of surprising performances before ending the season on the bench.

However, a series of recent scandals plaguing the Eels club – including salary cap breaches, the sacking of the club’s board over governance issues around the cap breaches, and several incidents where Parramatta players have attracted the attention of police – may have swayed Hayne’s decision.
