Hazard to sit out PAOK game on Thursday
Eden Hazard would have to leave Chelsea if he wanted to score 40 goals in a season, says Stuart Pearce. “He has to improve something but he can do it”.

Ever since Maurizio Sarri was appointed as the new Chelsea boss though, the Italian manager has insisted that the Brazilian worldwide is an invaluable member of his squad due to his experience.
Hazard certainly has all the tools to become a similar threat.
The Belgian has also registered two assists, helping the Blues top the Premier League table. But does he have the mentality of an elite goalscorer?
For the first time since the league’s inception 26 years ago, two teams – Chelsea and Liverpool – have a 100 percent winning record after five matches.
He felt Hazard spent too much energy in the opponents’ half, collecting the ball when he could be working further upfield and scoring more goals.
Bobby Reid was unlucky not to open his Premier League account as his bending effort curled inches wide of the Blues’ post.
It was his second hat-trick for Chelsea, coming four years after he scored all the goals in their 3-0 win over Newcastle.
Last season, Liverpool’s Mo Salah won the coveted trophy with 32 Premier League goals, while Harry Kane was second with 30.
Maurizio Sarri has left Eden Hazard out of Chelsea’s travelling 21-man squad for their Europa League group-stage opener at PAOK Salonika.
“Stating the obvious here, but Hazard was just a delight to watch”.
“I thought Hazard was one of the best players in Europe but now I am changing my mind that he is the best“.
Remember, Hazard has only started THREE games.
He has carried on his spectacular form of the previous campaign as he has already netted 4 goals in 5 league games so far this season. “That’s why he deserves to play all the minutes he’s playing”.
The early signs are that the Italian has built the most formidable passing midfield of the Roman Abramovich era.
“A passer, rather than (N’Golo) Kante, who’s more someone who can break things up”.

However, they doubled their goals tally for the season as the took the lead against Chelsea in the 15th minute. “So I think it’s normal that in this period we have some defensive problems”.
