HBO confirms ‘Game of Thrones’ will end after Season 8

HBO programming president broke the news to press at the Television Critics Association. The storyline of the Game of Thrones television series moved beyond the plot of the books with Season 7, making it the first in which readers of the Game of Thrones books don’t know how the television show will unfold.

There have been rumors that Game of Thrones would be coming to an end, but it was finally confirmed.

There has been a lot of speculation about when Game of Thrones is going to end. Bloys said that if he could get them to do more seasons, then he would take 10 more seasons of the hit show.

Yes, they have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do.

And to make matters worse, Benioff and Weiss have recently hinted that Season 8 will be just six episodes. Let’s all enjoy the show while we still can.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Bloys was asked whether he’s on board with “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss’ plan to end the series after Season 8, wherein he replied with a “yes”.

However, Bloys would go on to note that there hasn’t been a decision regarding just how many episodes season eight will have.

“Even if we took Thrones Emmys away this year, we’d still have more than anyone else”. “We’ve talked about it”, Bloys told the TCA. “It’s being I’m not confronting it, but of course, it has to get insight creatively”.

Bloys, who also gave an update about Jon Stewart’s new show on Saturday, did offer some good news for the Game of Thrones fans who are probably rolled in a ball crying right now. Though Jon Stewart signed a four-year deal with HBO after leaving The Daily Show last summer, we haven’t heard much about what that deal will entail-until now. “The guys weren’t denied to it, but there are no definite plans for it at this moment”.
