Some of HBO’s new Westworld photos have been floating around from the beginning, but the latest batch place a heavy emphasis on characters living behind-the-scenes. Check them out below.

Westworld premieres Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9/8c on HBO. The cast includes: Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris, Jimmi Simpson, Shannon Woodward, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Clifton Collins, Jr., Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, and Simon Quarterman.

The 10-part series has been created by Jonathan Nolan – brother of Inception director Christopher Nolan – and Lisa Joy, both of whom write and executive produce the show. Nolan will also direct. J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, and Bryan Burk are also executive producers. Armistice (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) is a savage fighter and brutal bandit, whose ruthlessness is surpassed only by her abiding loyalty to her fellow outlaws.

Ben Barnes as Logan.

Thandie Newton as Maeve. Clementine Pennyfeather (Angela Sarafyan), one of Westworld’s most popular attractions, is perfectly beguiling, by design.

Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Robert Ford.

Shannon Woodward as Elsie and Sidse Babett Knudsen as Theresa Cullen.

Jimmi Simpson as William.

Rodrigo Santoro plays Hector Escaton, the “most wanted” bandit.

Jeffrey Wright as Bernard Lowe.

Simon Quarterman as Lee Sizemore.

The series is a reboot of Michael Crichton’s classic 1973 sci-fi film of the same name, and deals with artificial intelligence and questions of consciousness, morality, and entertainment.
