The titles of the last two episodes have also been announced.
And those would be: “The Battle of the Bastards” (June 19), and “The Winds of Winter” (June 26).
Warning: Spoilers ahead for “Game of Thrones” season six. That title is obviously a reference to the still-unpublished sixth book in George R.R. Martin’s novels on which Game of Thrones is based.
The title of episode 9 is The Battle of the Bastards and presumably refers to the epic Jon Snow vs Ramsay Bolton face-off that’s been teased all season. Most of its episodes hover around the 50 minute mark.
“While Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) weighs his options, Cersei (Lena Headey) answers a request”. Arya Stark (Maise Williams) joined their ranks in season 5, but left the order in the May 29 episode “Blood of my Blood” after rejecting their amoral code and requirement that she become “no one”.
According to reports, the upcoming episodes of the current season are longer and the finale is slated to be the longest, fans have ever witnessed, on the fantasy-drama series.

“Game of Thrones” has been on a streak of well-received episodes, from the heartbreaking Hodor reveal in “The Door” to new fan-favorite Lyanna Mormont’s first onscreen appearance in “The Broken Man”. As for the season finale – confirmed to be titled “The Winds of Winter’ – the mammoth 69 minute run time means it will be the longest episode in Game of Thrones history. which suits me just fine”.
