He Did It…And Endorsed Ayotte and McCain As Well
GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is expected to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan in his primary race at a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisc., Friday evening.

He took insults against Clinton “to another level”, as Politico puts it, on Friday night when he called her “a monster” and “unstable” in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
“He’s a good man, and he’s a good guy”, Trump said. “And we may disagree on a couple of things, but mostly we agree”.
“We will have disagreements but we will disagree as friends and never stop working together toward victory”.
It was an unusual gesture for Trump, who is known for his refusal to admit mistakes and his tendency to double down when he’s under attack.
Trump initially refused to back Ryan in an interview with The Washington Post earlier this week. John McCain and House Speaker Paul Ryan, after saying he wasn’t ready to do so earlier this week. Vulnerable Senate Republicans were forced to scramble to answer for his critiques and controversies as he faced heavy blowback for his criticism of the family of a Muslim U.S. Soldier who died a war hero, and many Republicans openly wondered whether Trump wanted to torpedo his own party. As for Ayotte, Trump characterized her as “a rising star [who] will continue to represent the great people of New Hampshire so very well for a long, long time”. Kelly Ayotte, with whom he has sparred. Ted Cruz, and his enduring friction with GOP leaders there does not bode well for him in what is already one of the toughest presidential battleground states for any Republican.
Trump was immediately slammed for not endorsing the Republicans, particularly Ryan, and he has attacked McCain several times during the campaign, including his record as a POW in Vietnam.
Trump conceded Friday he was wrong to claim repeatedly in recent days that he saw a video of a USA cash payment going to Iran.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker skipped the evening rally, preferring to attend all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner instead of appearing with his party’s standard bearer.
“All my life I’ve been told, “You have the greatest temperament”, he said.
Mr Trump called Mrs Clinton “totally unhinged” and “unbalanced” and said she lacks the integrity to serve in the White House.
Ryan, back in May, had told CNN that he was “not there yet” when it came to supporting Trump. “She is such a weak candidate that one would think that we would be on offense against Hillary Clinton, and it is distressing that that’s not what we’re talking about these days”.
The charges came soon after Clinton addressed her own political vulnerabilities while facing a group of minority journalists in Washington.
Ms Clinton conceded that she had “short-circuited” earlier in the week in interviews when she had asserted that Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey had concluded she had been truthful in her statements about use of the private server.

“The character traits he has exhibited during the primary season suggest he would be a poor, even risky, commander in chief”, Morell wrote, pointing to Trump’s “obvious need for self-aggrandizement, his overreaction to perceived slights” and “his routine carelessness with the facts”. Bernie Sanders’ decision to support Clinton.
