‘He stole it’: Trump blasts Cruz for ‘fraud’ in Iowa

The Cruz campaign circulated a CNN story about Carson’s plans to head to Florida following the Iowa caucus, and the campaign allegedly urged caucusgoers to vote for Cruz instead.

On Tuesday, final Iowa caucus results showed that Clinton won 49.8 percent of the Democratic caucus vote to Sanders’ 49.6 percent.

Though it’s a small amount of delegates, it’s a major win for the Sanders campaign, as advisors and pundits expected Clinton to win by much more than a razor thin margin, which would’ve given her more momentum in New Hampshire, where Sanders is now polling higher. I don’t know if you got to see that and it looked just like it was sent by a government.

A day after his “humbling” second place finish in the first presidential nominating contests, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump was back in form as he accused his vanquisher Ted Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucus. “Candy Carson just walked in the room immediately after he was done and said basically what I said because I had gotten up and said that that was a lie, and Candy came in and corroborated that it was a false statement perpetuated by them”, said Wisneski.

Iowa’s track record of picking winners has been mixed in the past, but according to Pundits, it nearly always shapes the race. “And what that told us was that he was not going to New Hampshire”, said Cruz spokesperson Rick Tyler.

He said the Iowa caucus results were surprising all around.

Even though Clinton is the announced victor, Sanders is not admitting defeat.

Trump has repeatedly raised the subject of Cruz’s birthplace, suggesting that the Texas senator, who was born in Calgary, Alberta, to an American mother, may not be constitutionally eligible to serve as president of the United States.

“I don’t make a practice of scapegoating staff members when it’s politically convenient”, Cruz added. He took third place with less than one percent. Cruz apologized to Carson on Tuesday for his campaign not sending out updates that Carson was doing laundry and not dropping out.

If Rubio does well in New Hampshire and comes in far ahead of Chris Christie, John Kasich and Jeb Bush, major donors who had supported one of these “establishment” candidates will likely put their money on him.

Polls show Mr Sanders leading by double digits in New Hampshire, which neighbours Vermont.
