‘Healthy and Fit to Serve’: Clinton Releases New Medical Info
Health speculations were kindled last week when Clinton trailed off into a coughing attack during her first press conference in almost nine months. “We want her on the campaign trail”.

She spoke on the Tom Joyner radio show.
While the incident revived long-simmering questions about her health, the campaign on Wednesday released additional medical details.
The new letter lists Trump’s weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, which was 116/70, testosterone level and blood sugar.
Trump handed over some medical data Wednesday on “The Dr. Oz Show,” including the results of a recent physical exam.
Ever the showman, Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” was billed by the campaign as a discussion about his general well-being and his family’s medical history. “I think on the one hand, it is part of the wacky strategy, just say all these insane things and maybe you can get some people to believe you”.
“Yeah, just about the same age as Ronald Regan and Hillary is a year behind me”, Trump responded. “I don’t know, folks”, he said.
And despite recent efforts to increase support from African Americans from Trump, Clinton had a massive lead with black voters: 89% to Trump’s 6%.
There are calls for the two nominees to match the more than 1,000 pages of medical records released by Senator John McCain, a Republican, when he ran for president in 2008 – he was 71 then, and there were widespread concerns about his age. Her illness became public after she left a 9/11 memorial service in New York City and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van. Clinton was later evaluated for pain in her left ear, which confirmed a sinus and ear infection. “Gosh, I hope I am as healthy at 38 as she is at 68”.
In a letter, Dr. Lisa Bardack said Clinton was “recovering well with antibiotics and rest”. “I examined her immediately upon her return home; she was re-hydrating and recovering nicely”.
Dr Bardack said Mrs Clinton’s vital signs remained normal. The statement also said Clinton has no lasting effects from a concussion she suffered while serving as secretary of state in 2012, backing up statements that she has made in the years since the incident.
Clinton shut down other questions, promising to speak to press later. She receives routine dental care, had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter.
The candidate now takes thyroid and allergy medicines as well as the blood thinner Coumadin, which was initially prescribed as a preventative measure after she suffered a blood clot following a concussion in 2012.
The coughing also cut short an in-flight gaggle earlier this month, and Bardack wrote on Wednesday that Clinton takes allergy medicine to combat the issue.
The majority of national polls released on 14 September show Hillary Clinton remains in the lead by as many as five points, according to a Quinnipac poll, but an LA Times/USC Tracking poll puts Trump five points ahead of Clinton.
It said Kaine is active in his work and physical fitness.

Meanwhile, Trump delivered an economic speech in NY and is scheduled to go to New Hampshire afterwards. He is set to attend a rally in New Hampshire later in the day.
