Heat’s Goran Dragic: Undergoes MRI on calf
Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic will miss about a week after an MRI on Thursday revealed a mild left calf strain, the team said. He believes he suffered the injury during the Heat’s 111-103 loss against the Warriors on Monday.

Dragic won’t play Wednesday at the Los Angeles Clippers, Friday in Denver and Sunday in Oklahoma City.
Dragic said he was uncertain exactly when the strain occurred and the Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said that there was no tear in the calf. The earliest he could return to the lineup is Tuesday when Miami hosts Milwaukee.
This means Dragic will miss the remainder of the road trip.

The injury comes at a bad time, as Dragic was starting to settle into the Heat’s scoring attack, averaging a season-high 15.3 points per game in January. “Obviously we were out of sync, but it starts with the point guard”. In his absence, Miami will likely turn to some combination of Beno Udrih and Tyler Johnson at point guard with Dwyane Wade taking on a larger ball-handling role in the half-court.
