Heightened security amid Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting
For many of us, it’s the annual lighting of the always majestic Rockerfeller Center Christmas Tree. In recent years however the living Christmas tree idea has shifted to out in the landscape.

The tree-lighting ceremony begins at 7 p.m. Drivers are urged to stay away from the area near Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall between 3 to 11 p.m., according to NYPD. “If anything ever does break, it’s so easy to just replace a component of your tree”.
