The country’s Globe And Mail newspaper has described the trip as a “match made in paparazzi heaven, featuring Prince William, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and their equally telegenic families”.

The royal couple got a rainy start to their second day of their visit to British Columbia and Yukon on Sunday.
Trudeau knelt down on the tarmac to greet the young prince, raising his hand in greeting.

The public will only see the children once at their departure on October 1 and the media will only see the kids a few times during an eight-day visit.
He continued by giving a bit of parental advice saying, “Let me caution you from my own experience”.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George stole the limelight as they arrived in Canada for the Royal tour, despite only being seen for a matter of minutes. The windows of their auto were open so they could wave back.
“As any parent who has travelled with children knows, it’s a whole different experience when you bring your children with you”, he said, to cheers.
“Though let me caution you from my own experience, if they’re anything like our kids, getting them back on a plane after a visit to our handsome West Coast will really be a challenge”.
The family would have more than 30 engagements during their 11-day tour of the country, and would spend more time with Trudeau and his young family.
Katherine Pitt turned up before sunrise to get a front-row seat to the event, armed with a picnic blanket, food and an iPad loaded with the last season of the historical drama “Downton Abbey”. Further, he mentioned that he hopes George and Charlotte will make many more visits in the years to come to Canada.
They will receive an official welcome at the British Columbia Parliament Buildings in Victoria after their arrival and later meet with senior Canadian leaders at Government House where they will be based for their visit. “We’re just happy to be here”.

The couple’s first stop was to the city’s gritty Downtown Eastside, where they met several mothers and their children who are part of a unique program at Sheway for women with children or who are pregnant and also have drug and alcohol addictions. Like any good host that also leads a country, Trudeau was there with his wife when the British royals landed.
