Henderson and Origi have final hope
Sturridge, who was on target for the Reds last night in their 3-0 Europa League semi-final win over Villarreal, has told Sport magazine that he is now too old to emulate his favourite grappler, The Undertaker.

Michael Owen has identified Dejan Lovren, Simon Mignolet and Adam Lallana as the three Liverpool players who have improved most under Jurgen Klopp. “We need to just be calm and confident and hopefully without injuries so we can play with a full squad in the final”.
“When you talk to him it’s exactly the same, you can feel something there that you would want to go out and play for him”. I saw in his eyes that he thinks he has a chance. “We advise anyone without tickets not to approach the stadium on the day of the final since safety and security measures will be very tight”, read a statement.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed he has had only a “few seconds” to pick his team for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Watford but said that he would be making changes.
While many Liverpool fans’ minds may already be preoccupied with getting one of the 10,200 tickets the club has been allocated for the final, Klopp’s attention is turning to the visit of the Hornets and he confirmed this morning he will look to freshen his side up.
He said: “This is our second final this year but we know we need to bring the cup home”.
Basel’s stadium is the biggest in Switzerland, albeit one of the smallest to host a final of such magnitude. Klopp, however, is loathe to take any risks with Danny Ings, Divock Origi, and Jordan Henderson with less than a handful of games remaining. We can’t think about the size of the stadium.
“Hendo is in a really good way, so it is really good for England because there is no doubt at this moment about being fit for the European Championships”.
“For me, I think as long as you’ve got the same mentality, the same game plan, you all stick to it and you’re on the same wave length, then it doesn’t matter if you’re playing 4-4-2 or 4-3-3”.

But the club are now on a massive high having made the Europa League final and that should translate into a good performance on Sunday.
