Henry Cavill goes unrecognized in Times Square…while wearing Superman shirt

Well, Henry Cavill, who plays the man from Krypton in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, proved Wednesday that… well, it’s actually pretty easy for Superman to go undiscovered in public.

Clark Kent has long masked his true identity of Superman by using a simple gray suit and a pair of eyeglasses.

In a video on his Instagram account, he says, “Dear doubter, The glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman”, he wrote in the caption of the hilarious video. This message goes along with a slideshow of pictures taken of the actor in New York City apparently completely avoiding detection. Dude. He didn’t even need the glasses.

It seems the Man of Steel himself was ignored by fans when he sported his Superman t-shirt at Times Square.

Cavill was wearing superman T-shirt, similar to the spandex attire we’ve come to associate with Kal-El.

Incidentally, if you do happen to recognize Cavill on the street, try not to catcall him or ask him for a shag-especially if his 19-year-old girlfriend is around.

Cavill also walked to an area of Times Square featuring billboards of movie posters for his new movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
