Henry Has Criticized Arsene Wenger

To rub salt into the wounds, more injuries befell the Arsenal ranks as Alexis Sanchez pulled up with what looked to be a hamstring strain after a challenge in the Norwich box.

While Arsenal fans are arguing against each other on the social media on who should be blamed for Arsenal’s injury woes after Sanchez, Koscielny and Cazorla picked up different injuries.

If Cazorla has to drop out of contention then Wenger will switch Aaron Ramsey to central midfield, the Wales star’s preferred position while Koscielny’s injury opens the door for Gabriel, the Brazilian, to stake a claim for a permanent place.

“Alexis Sanchez has been in scintillating form and you could see Arsenal missed him when he went off”.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says Arsene Wenger should have rested Alexis Sanchez for Saturday’s game against Norwich.

The 26-year-old limped out of the 1-1 draw at Carrow Road at the weekend.

“The players are there to play football, not to be rested when the press decides that they need to be, Wenger added”. “He says it’s a kick on his hamstring. I fear it is not the reality”.

Arsenal now will have to make do without Sanchez when they face Olympiacos in their crunch Champions League clash next week.

Defender Laurent Koscielny and midfielder Santi Cazorla will also be assessed on Monday morning after picking a hip injury and a knee injury respectively. “If he played today and he scored he would have said, “I was right to play him”, but he got an injury so we are obviously going to say he should have rested him”. The draw meant Arsenal slipped to fourth after failing to win for a third league game, but Spaniard Bellerin said there were plenty of others that could follow his path from academy to first team and keep up the pursuit of leaders Manchester City. The worrying thing is it got worse during the game. The north-east side have won their last two games, and will fancy their chances of taking a result back with them – much like they did in their penultimate game of last season, where they guaranteed survival with a goalless draw.

“I think the mistake made with Sanchez has more to do with the fact he is already playing with a relatively weak team”, said the Dutchman.
