One of the more original games of 2015 was Sam Barlow’s Her Story [$4.99], an FMV mystery game that was a glorified Google search simulator, sure.

Her Story surprised many with its narrative hooks past year, ultimately ending up winning several awards from Geoff Keighley’s year-end The Game Awards show. “Neat”. He even kindly included a (very blurry) screenshot of the page. In response to questions from rans, he confirmed that the game would use live-action videos, like the first game, but that it would have no story connection.

The working title is apparently all that the original and whatever Barlow’s next project actually is share in common, as he explicitly stated it had “no relation story-wise to Her Story” via Twitter. I’m kind of hoping they bring back Viva Siefert for this one, and have her play a different role, American Horror Story-style. Let us know in the comments down below!
