There was a ton of hype of anticipation leading up to the Anniversary Update for Windows 10, otherwise known as Redstone 1 and the OS’s second major update since it launched in July of a year ago. Microsoft officials recently stated that with the new build, the company is now focusing on introducing under-the-hood improvements and fixes instead of new features.

Less than two weeks after making its big Anniversary Update available to the public, Microsoft has already begun testing its next major upgrade to Windows 10. However, it’s easy to opt out of these if you don’t want them. Once your PC restarts, go back and make sure you’re in the Fast ring.

Ms. Dona Sarkar, who took over as Windows Insider chief, says that this release for mobile devices would be available shortly and the Windows team is working on the last phase of this update to be made available to Windows Phones around the globe. And secondly, Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes during launch attempts.

According to the company, the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update will not be released to mainstream users until 2017.

Another addition in the concept is the hamburger menu icon which gives access to some folders and settings that are found on the computer, but at the same time, File Explorer is brought in line with the other Windows 10 applications. Microsoft says they’re created to help customers by providing quick and easy information and about things they can do or new features they can try out in Windows 10.
