Australia, New Zealand, and the US were the first countries to gain access to the game last week, with expectations that Pokemon GO would continue to launch internationally in the coming days.

Niantic, the company that designed the game, teamed up with Google Maps to help design the game mechanics for walking around in real time to play the game. If you are in a public park, you may catch Pokemon that resemble insects, plants and birds. There’s still no word on when the game will hit other major regions, most notably Asia.

The wait is finally over, UK Pokemon GO fans.

In Vancouver, police have observed the game’s colourful digital characters inside their own headquarters and have cautioned city residents over what they termed the “Pokemon Go invasion”. Not only gaming, Pokemon Go represents a big step for AR, as game developers can now focus on games that interact more with reality and allow users to explore their surroundings.

It also means that there’s no reason to stop playing no matter what version you have, so get out and get catching!

It appears trying to “catch em all” can land you in the hospital or worse.

Considering that Pokémon Go accumulated twice as many installs as popular dating app Tinder just one day after launching, this news doesn’t come as a huge surprise.

A Pokemon tracker is available at the bottom right hand side of the screen. A greater number of footprints indicates that a Pokemon is further away. You can see the results in the video above.

“While the game can be a blast and people are exercising because they have to get up and walk to look for a Pokémon, many concerns have arisen”, the BBB said in news release.

Other safety concerns have also been raised after at least one attempted armed robbery was reported in the USA and a woman discovered a dead body while searching for Pokemon with the app. The church has responded with a series of social media posts calling the Pokemon a sodomite.

Pokemon Go took the world by storm last week when it launched in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

There have also been plenty of reports of people falling over and grazing or cutting themselves because they’re not paying attention to what’s in front of them while they play.
