Here’s How An Iris Scanner On A Galaxy Note 7 Works

It is indeed odd that the company made a decision to reveal the name of the phone ahead of it’s announcement and without providing any key details. This year is also expected to see the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and if Samsung released their latest phablet model as Galaxy Note 6, it might cause confusion among the buyers. However, that does not make the unveiling of the phone any less exciting. The New York announcement of the Galaxy Note 7 will be live-streamed, the company said.

If this is is the genuine article, we expect the Note 7 to retain its slightly square-ish appearance compared to the S-series phones, even if it is a little more rounded and curved than previous Galaxy Notes. Therefore, the odds are in the favor of the French blog. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature Samsung’s special Note software, in addition to the typical TouchWiz launcher. The Note 7, however, will likely borrow much of its technology from the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge models, which have been selling well. The device will be fueled by the Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 SoCs (chances are only 1 variant will be available in your region, at least officially), and you’ll get 4GB / 6GB of RAM on the inside. Rear camera capacity will be 12MP, with a 5MP unit to be packed on the front. In addition to a large 3,600 mAh battery, the device would come with an integrated iris and fingerprint scanner.
