Here’s how to download the iOS 10 public beta

A new ‘Rest Finger to Unlock’ option is available that allows you to unlock the phone by simply resting your finger on the TouchID button. The updates are available as OTA downloads on supported devices and through the Apple Developer portal.

With iOS 10, Apple is also opening up its intelligent assistant to developers with the Siri software development kit (SDK). There are more 3D Touch shortcuts and changes to icons. Apple News app can now be removed from the Home Screen.
Once signed in, users will can enroll their devices on the beta program by clicking the Download profile button under the iOS tab. The updated operating system also introduces greater integration with the cloud, making it easier for users to access files and documents saved on desktops via iPhones or iPads.
