Ben and Jerry’s are celebrating Free Cone Day on Tuesday (12 April), and so they will be giving away free ice cream cones at their stands in Odeon cinemas across Merseyside this afternoon. Even your weird uncle, apparently.
Thousands of ice cream enthusiasts braved the queues at Ponsonby’s Ben & Jerry’s to nab a free cone.
It’s the company’s way to say thanks for another year of success, according to Ben & Jerry’s Facebook event.
This is the company’s 38th annual Free Cone Day.
There are four Ben and Jerry’s in Bristol: The Showcase cinema in Cabot Circus; the Vue cinema in Longwell Green; the Vue cinema at Cribbs Causeway; and at the Showcase cinema in Avonmead leisure park. Anyone who comes in can get a free small cone, with no purchase necessary, and charitable donations will be accepted.
How much free ice cream could you do?
