Here’s How You Can Watch the Democratic National Convention
The Democratic National Convention is teaming up with Philadephia-based startup Curalate to meet voters where they are: their smart phones.

The vote, which took place Tuesday at the airport, was 461-5 in favor of striking out of 500 on shift Tuesday participating.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, employees want better scheduling, clarity on sick pay and the ability to unionize.
The workers are now subcontractors hired by various airlines, and are pushing for a $15 hourly wage and improved benefits.
After Republicans wrap up their much anticipated convention in Cleveland next week, Democrats will head to Philadelphia to crown former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the Party’s official nominee.
“The hardworking men and women at the airport exemplify everything that the DNC platform is about”, said Gabe Morgan, vice president of 32BJ SEIU.
While police, hospitals and businesses are preparing to work overtime for the thousands of visitors descending upon Philadelphia for next week’s Democratic National Convention, one group is planning to walk off the job.
The Philadelphia convention host committee declined to comment. While information is incomplete, the city says that the insurance carrier paid out about $1.8 million in settlements and legal costs from actions stemming from that convention.

Mr. Morgan said other area unions have fair contracts and thus would not have strikes during the convention, but that’s not the case for the airport workers.
