Here’s what Dr. Oz said about Donald Trump’s health

He said: “I would say I see a person that’s 35 years old”.

Trump’s latest letter was more detailed than a four-paragraph summary that his physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, had issued last December. Trump said that gesticulating and speaking in front of large crowds turns very physical and that “a lot of times these rooms are very hot, like saunas, and I guess that is a form of exercise”.

“When you’re running for president, I think you have an obligation to be healthy”, Trump said, adding that he’s taken “almost no days” off.

But the Republican presidential candidate told the doctor that he wants to “lose a little weight” as he weighs in at 236 pounds for his 6’3 frame.

“I don’t think you can represent the country properly if you’re not a healthy person”, he said. NY billionaire Donald Trump officially accepted the presidential nomination of the U.S. Republican Party Thursday night on the final day of the Republican National Convention.

He said that when he’s with the 39-year-old, “I feel I’m the same age as him”. “It’s tough because of the way I live, but the one thing I would like to do is be able to drop 15, 20 pounds”.

“I think if I had one thing, I’d like to lose weight”, Trump told Oz.

That discussion culminated Thursday with Trump’s appearance on The Dr. Oz Showfor an interview with the controversial Mehmet Oz. He has been pictured several times eating fast food on the campaign trail. He said his cholesterol is “quite good” and that he had “every single test” and they are good.

After all, both the Trump campaign and Sony Pictures Television excitedly announced the daytime television event last week, and audience members from Wednesday’s taping were more than willing to share details the day before it finally aired. Those are healthy levels, but he does use a cholesterol-lowering statin medication – rosuvastatin, better known as the brand Crestor.

Trump has recently undergone an EKG, chest X-ray and echocardiogram that were normal.

Trump’s blood sugar was normal.

His only other listed medication was a low-dose aspirin, which doctors often recommend to lower the risk of heart disease and colon cancer.

Trump’s body mass index (BMI) is 29.5 which puts him in the “overweight” range; a BMI of 30 or more would categorise him as “obese”. It was the second Bronstein wrote addressing Trump’s health.
