Here’s what players learned from the leaked Star Wars Battlefront alpha
Barely 24 hours have passed since EA and DICE kicked off its closed alpha for Star Wars Battlefront and already a flurry of information and gameplay clips have found their way online.

According to data miners, the upcoming alpha test will include the Walker Assault mission on Hoth or Tatooine, and possibly Wave mode on Hoth.
Previously, there have been footage of the alpha testing leaked over at various video hosting sites.
Star Wars is out November 17 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will feature characters such as Darth Vader, Boba Feth, and Luke Sky Walker, among others. The website lists a range of weapons and vehicles that appears to be accessible to players under certain conditions.
Developer DICE has also taken the time to explain to fans some of their plans for “Star Wars Battlefront“, particularly on the aspect of replayability for the game.
The user also details the weapons available in the closed alpha, discovered by analysing the weapons.sb file.
As for vehicles, the client files mention T-65 X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Lambda Shuttle, Y-Wing, Tie-Bomber, Corellian Corvette, Nebulon B Frigate, ISD (Imperial Star Destroyer), AT-ST, AT-AT, TIE Interceptor, 74-Z Speeder Bike.
The rest of the leaks cover some secondary details, like the fact that the Tatooine map appears to have dawn and midday versions.
Ultimately the only real surprise is that there are emotes in the game that players can use, from applause animations to an SOS.

Recently, an EA executive revealed that for Star Wars: Battlefront, PlayStation 4 is the lead platform.
