Here’s what we can expect from the iPhone 6C ‘next year’

This time around, the new Apple mobile device will come with a metal body, but most intriguing will be to see what specs the 6c is launched with.

While reports of the return of smaller-screened iPhones emerged over a year ago, these speculations were not given any serious consideration by industry watchers.

The news comes from Apple insider who have received information about Apple’s launch plans, for the new iPhone 7.

Rumors about the iPhone 7 being waterproof and dustproof have been swirling and guesses are being made at whether it will sport the 7000 series aluminum casing.

Now, there are several “phablet” models out there, including Apple’s iPhone 6s Plus.

All aboard the Apple 6s cart! If Apple does decide to go through with it, they will have a nice little iPhone family of past and present. Hence, Apple is likely to release an upgraded product in the 4-inch category.

Apparently the iPhone 6c is still under consideration by Apple, but is now scheduled to be launched in 2016. Mr. Kuo’s vote in favor of the current smart phone cycle seems adds weight to a September launch. If it turns out the iPhone 7 release date has been moved forward, Apple’s sales over the next three quarters could come in very low indeed. The vast majority of those people don’t search for rumors about the next release from Apple before making a buy decision.

We’re still awaiting news of a follow-up to Apple’s plastic iPhone 5C, but the latest rumours indicate that it’ll be quite different to its predecessor. Would you prefer a smaller iPhone to the new larger models? And more importantly, a smartphone that offers consumers a chance to have an affordable Apple handset.

More updates and details on the 4-inch Apple iPhone are expected in the following months.

“As there is still demand for a four-inch iPhone, we believe Apple will upgrade this product line”, he said in an analyst note this week.
