According to Eurogamer, “Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch” will put Lara Croft in a forest presided over by the mythical Baba Yaga, a creature from Slavic folklore that lives in a cottage set atop a pair of giant chicken legs.

Now, Square Enix has confirmed that it’s about to get a shade more packed, with the announcement that Rise of the Tomb Raider’s first story-focused DLC add-on will be released on January 26th. Developer for the sequel to the 2013 reboot Crystal Dynamics have promised “hours of gameplay” to those who decide to partake in another adventure as one of gaming’s most famous icons, but for what cost? The first DLC, called Endurance mode, was already available last month. This game mode pushes Laura to the max, forcing players to manage her warmth and resources to survive as long as possible.

With the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC, it seems fair to assume that the DLC should be released on that version too. The release will be on January 26, this was confirmed to Gamespot a few hours ago. It’ll also include a third piece of DLC named Cold Darkness Awakened, which will launch later this year. Meanwhile, Playstation 4 players will have to continue twiddling their thumbs, as the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider won’t be out for almost another year with a release date of December 30th, 2016. If so, are you planning to pick up this DLC? Let us know your thoughts on that and the PC release in the comments section below.
