Here’s Why the iPhone 7 is a Stoners Dream

The downside is you don’t own your phone, but the upside is you get a new phone each year.

Apple has introduced its latest iPhone 7 that features a souped-up camera and a new headphone jack.

One adapter plugged into the phone, another adapter plugged into the original adapter and the headphones plugged into the second adapter that’s plugged into the adapter plugged into the iPhone 7.

Of course, if you want to listen to your old 3.5mm “legacy” headphones, you’re going to need to use another adapter, which at least Apple ships in the box with the iPhone 7. But what’s really special about the iPhone 7, aside from its wireless headphones?

While Apple has touted total iPhone sales of one billion, the number sold in the quarter ending Jun 25 fell 15 per cent from a year earlier, highlighting concerns over growth for the key profit driver.

When Apple unveiled the iPhone 7, people took issue with its lack of a headphone jack.

What’s more, there are many more headphones now than there were 30-pin accessories, and consumers can be fiercely loyal to their cans. But Apple wants you to buy a pair of AirPods headphones.

Under the hood, Apple now has a new A10 Fusion processor. iPhones always feel fast on the demo table, and this one did too.

“These initial sales will be governed by supply, not demand, and we have decided that it is no longer a representative metric for our investors and customers”, Apple said in a statement. This seems to be the official solution by Apple when it comes to wired headphones while still encouraging users to instead go for its Bluetooth units called “AirPods”.

Will third-party headphones work with the iPhone 7? That could mean no new iPhone until November.
