Here’s your first look at explosions in Transformers: The Last Knight
While Marvel is busy filming Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok, Paramount is committed to expanding its Transformers universe with The Last Knight. Transformers: The Last Knight is now set for a June 23, 2017, release date. Director Michael Bay has been posting behind-the-scenes looks from the set, and the latest batch includes some “subway surfing”, Fourth of July fireworks, and some car-flipping action.

Mark Wahlberg will be reprising his role as Cade Yeager from the previous film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. These photos have introduced the newest Transformer Squeeks, teased the return of Megatron and showed off the slick new auto form of some Transformers. Josh Duhamel will be reprising his role as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox and Tyrene Gibson will be reprising his role as former soldier Robert Epps. What about you? How do you feel about Bay’s explosive directing?

There’s no additional information about the movie-prepped GT R outside Bay’s image, but the auto appears to sport the standard features save for the two-tone livery. Are you excited for the new Transformers or are you exhausted of the movie franchise? And for those of you who just can’t get enough, a sixth Transformers movie is already in the works, set for a June 28th, 2019, release.
