“I’d seen it portrayed in folk art. It was something about the juxtaposition of skeletons with bright, festive colors that captured my imagination”, Unkrich said of the film.

When the toy army men rappelled from the ceiling to mark the end of Disney’s D23 Expo Animation and Pixar panel, it looked like an invasion.

One of the big news announced during the Expo is that “Finding Dory” the sequel to Finding Nemo will make a come back 13 years after the original hit movie screens. After all, if Woody and Bo are going to have a romance, Woody would need to find her first, right?

If you’re anything like us, you were pretty bitter when, during the otherwise flawless plot of Disney/Pixar’s masterpiece Toy Story 3, cowboy toy Woody’s one true love, ceramic figurine (Little) Bo Beep, was left out. While Finding Nemo was incredible, using the same setup for a sequel just wouldn’t work all that well.

Dwayne Johnson, the actor and former wrestler also known as The Rock, will voice mighty demi-god Maui in Disney’s Moana, which tells the story of a young Polynesian princess who embarks on a daring journey to prove to the world that she is a great explorer. Specifically, those teases are coming by way of Pixar, who took to Twitter to unveil a series of posters for upcoming sequels including Finding Dory, Toy Story 4 and perhaps the most exciting of the bunch, Brad Bird’s The Incredibles 2.

Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson and Ellen DeGeneres joined the “Finding Dory” filmmakers onstage at D23.

The Good Dinosaur will come out November 25, 2015.

She explained that Dory (voiced by Ellen herself) was a sweet, lovable character. “We will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, a beluga whale, among others”.

In a very personal manner, Lasseter then revealed the personal inspiration for the love story. Ginnifer Goodwin (ABC’s “Once Upon a Time“, “Something Borrowed”, “Walk the Line”), the voice of the film’s rookie rabbit officer Judy Hopps, saluted fans alongside directors Byron Howard (“Tangled”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph”), and producer Clark Spencer (“Wreck-It Ralph”).
