Hero boy, 11, dies saving his little sister in hit-and-run
La’Darious Wylie, a South Carolina 5th grader, his little sister and a few friends were waiting for the bus last week when a auto, for a few reason, veered towards the kids. La’Darious shoved her out of the way of the oncoming vehicle, and the auto was gone before she could get back up. His mother said the boy’s organs were donated so that he could help others in need. La’Darious pushed his sister out of the way just in time. The corner where La’Darious was struck has been transformed into a memorial for the young boy.

“He knew to look out for [his sister]”, said Elizabeth.
Wylie died the following day at a hospital after succumbing to his injuries.
Johnson, who has no criminal record, was released late Friday after a judge gave her a $25,000 bond.
“I don’t hate her, I just wish she had stopped”, McCrorey said.
Felicia Mobley, the boy’s aunt, told CBS-affiliate WBTV that they are “coping with it day by day”. The mother is focused now on just moving forward, and honoring her beloved son, for whom a funeral was held on Thursday of this week.
La’Darious Wylie was only 11 years old.
Michelle Johnson, 57, (l.) was charged with hit and run resulting in death, police said.
