Hezbollah vows to retaliate for killing of Lebanese militant
On December 21, Nasrallah pledged that Hezbollah would retaliate to the assassination “at the appropriate time and place and in the appropriate method”. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied the attack.

In a speech on Monday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah threatened Israel with revenge over Kuntar’s killing in an air strike in Syria on Saturday.
Speaking at an awards ceremony for outstanding Mossad employees, Netanyahu discussed the changing role of Israel’s national intelligence agency. “We can not forgive the shedding of our mujahideen blood by the Zionists…anywhere in the world”, he said.
The assault, one of the most notorious in Israeli history, resulted in the deaths of three men and two children, including a little girl whose head he smashed in with his rifle butt.
Nasrallah said Sunday that Israelis are “hiding like rats along the border…They are anxious, and they should be anxious along the border and inside Israel. Their threats will not benefit them”.
Nasrallah also referenced the wave of terrorism in Israel.
The Hezbollah chief further maintained that Israel is using the chaos created by the Syrian conflict to legitimize its occupation of the Golan Heights which Israel had unilaterally seized from Syria in 1981, calling on resistance fighters to unite and push Israel out of the Golan Heights.
While Israel is now facing a “complex defense reality”, Eisenkot said that the IDF was prepared to counter any threat.
The secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah says Samir Qantar, a high-ranking Hezbollah member who was recently killed by the Israeli regime, represented the spirit of resistance and sacrifice.

Regarding the scenarios that Hezbollah may follow to respond to Kuntar’s assassination, the Israeli analysts said that the party may kill a senior Zionist military officer.
