Hiddink Certain Chelsea Can Turn It Around
Asked whether, as an interim manager, he has money to spend when the transfer window reopens, Hiddink said: “Being an interim-manager is a very good addition to what your question was”.

Hiddink replaced Mourinho at Chelsea for the remainder of the season and watched from the stands as Chelsea beat Sunderland 3-1.
Hiddink’s fortunes have faded since he was last at Chelsea.
“I don’t say anything against them, they are part of us”.
“That’s the way everyone has to look at it, you can’t have it both ways – so I think collective responsibility is the key phrase here”.
“And see what anyone can contribute from now on to raise us up. So it was a very important win”.
The list of tasks ahead of the Dutchman is long.
Chelsea’s new manager Guus Hiddink, left, club owner Roman Abramovich, right, and former player Didier Drogba, center, walk out pitch side where they shook hands with players and coaching staff warming down after the end of the English Premier League soccer match between Chelsea and Sunderland at Stamford Bridge stadium in London, Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.
The 69-year-old has a contract to the end of the season, and his first game in charge will be against Watford on Boxing Day.
Hiddink has not ruled out helping Chelsea identify Mourinho’s long-term successor, but refused to be drawn on whether Didier Drogba would join his back-room staff.
Fabregas was forced to deny allegations of attempting to undermine Mourinho’s tenure, but now the squad have Holland’s “collective responsibility” warning ringing in their ears.
“I am looking forward to working with the players and staff at this great club and especially renewing my wonderful relationship with the Chelsea fans”.
“He’s an experienced professional who’s already worked at the club, knows the people here, knows the mentality, so I expect that we’ll be able to get good results with him”, the Blues midfielder told Serbian publication Mondo.
“They have always been with us, together”.
“All of us are in this position, it is not one or two individuals, we are in this position because one or two have performed and the rest haven’t unfortunately – but that is behind us now”.

“That’s behind us now, in the past, we have to move on and win football matches”.
