Hiddink: Diego Costa is not an idiot
Chelsea’s Diego Costa will not face any action following a gesture he made to the Everton supporters during Saturday’s FA Cup game at Goodison Park.

“It is a matter of temperament and character”.
Asked whether Chelsea should accept that Costa could be “a bit of an idiot” on the pitch, Hiddink replied: “That’s too strong”.
Hiddink denied Costa’s omission from the Spain squad for the friendlies with Italy and Romania was due to his disciplinary issues, instead insisting it was a result of an ongoing hip problem which will be treated during the worldwide break which follows the West Ham match. “He has recovered physically and now he has to regain his fitness”.
That means the Chelsea game will be last match played at Anfield before the new Main Stand takes the stadium’s capacity to around 54,000 for next season.
The Dutchman explained the reasons for signing Pato on loan from Corinthians: “You have to see when he was hired and coming on loan here we had a very hard situation here”. We have to wait to see how he reacts to the more intensive training he is undergoing.
“They have to compete in a healthy way, which is what they’re doing, and I have to make a judgement whether to give them a spot or not”. “It’s a nice team to watch”. I expect a tough game, they are in fifth position and maybe not just dreaming of fourth position.

The side would draw that game against the Black Cats, though they did go on and win the replay. “Being a young manager, he did already many, many good things”. Please note that comments are automatically checked for inappropriate language and will be removed accordingly.
