High temperatures continue in York County

Chances for rain return for the first part of next week as low pressure tracks westward along the Gulf Coast.

Looking ahead, isolated storms are possible again Monday with temperatures at or above normal for this time of the year. Skies, meanwhile, should be mostly cloudy and the high near 91. High temperature near: 89 in Beaumont, 89 in Orange and 91 in Port Arthur. They mention that gusty winds approaching severe criteria (around 60 mph) will be the biggest threat, but that a severe thunderstorm watch is unlikely. High temperatures near: 93. Tuesday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. High: 87, Low: 68.

Forecasters say southerly winds will develop this afternoon, followed by the strongest winds as a front pushes through central Idaho and western Montana.

Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies, with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms for the next several days.

Monday Night: A slight chance of showers after midnight.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny, hot, and humid. Winds: South 3-10 miles per hour. Highs in the mid to upper 90’s. The high should be 88, and the low should be 75.
