High Times: Lil Wayne cut short concert at California event
It’s unclear what upset the “Lollipop” rapper, but he was reportedly so irate he promised he’d never perform at the festival again. According to one audience member, “He wanted everyone with energy and to dance to his sh*t!” The rapper promoted the event on his social media accounts last week.

The star, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, was supposed to perform for an hour, but he left the stage after four songs. “Ever.” However, it’s not clear if that declaration referred to the event.
‘I would like to thank you for your time.
Wayne was the headliner Saturday night at the Cannabis Concentrates Cup show in Southern Cali – and seemed to be feeling the crowd at first.
And, he’s out: The rapper did a verse from another song threw in the towel or in his case, threw in the microphone after saying, “I would like to thank you for your time. We are truly baffled by why Lil Wayne would do this in front of thousands of Cannabis Cup attendees-in total disregard for his fans-and are awaiting an explanation from his team”. Wayne’s performance, which came after those of Latin hip-hop/rock group Ozomatli and believer of YouTube videos B.O.B., came in well below the hour-long set that Cannabis Cup organizers say he was contractually obliged to give.
