High wind warning replaces previous watch for Southern Utah

The mountains will have highs in the lower 60s to 70s and the valleys will have highs in the 80s.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy early in the morning, then a slight chance of showers late in the morning. High near 73. South southeast wind 10 to 15 miles per hour becoming northeast in the afternoon. Highs in the low to mid 80’s.

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a high wind warning which is in effect from noon Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday. Low temperatures will be in the middle to upper 60’s with highs warming back into the lower 80’s by Wednesday.

Friday Afternoon: Partly cloudy. Sunday night, the low will be around 57.

The briefing states there is high confidence there will be a heavy rain event across Texas Saturday night into Wednesday.

Friday Night Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4am.

The chance of precipitation is 40 percent, and new snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible. Cloudy, with a low around 54.

Weekend showers and thunderstorms are ahead. Partly sunny, with a high near 79.
