Juventus full-back Dani Alves has warned his side they can not be so profligate in front of goal if they are to go far in this year’s Champions League.

But that was last season, and this season starts afresh for both teams. Allegri’s men were runners-up in the Champions League in 2015 and have enjoyed one of the most productive transfer-windows in Europe, signing players of the calibre of Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves and Mehdi Benatia.
