Higuain kept quiet as Juventus held 0-0 by Sevilla
Juventus full-back Dani Alves has warned his side they can not be so profligate in front of goal if they are to go far in this year’s Champions League.

Juventus increasingly sensed it was going to be one of those nights and there was a hint of desperation when Marko Pjaca tried, in vain, to win a penalty when he felt Franco Vazquez’s arm brush his back. Sevilla have changed their style of play and are now more attacking.
It can not be overlooked, however, that Juventus beat Sevilla 2-0 in Italy last season and came within a whisker of eliminating Bayern Munich in the last-16. Sevilla have won the Europa League for the last three years in a row, so this is a hard game.
Sampaoli, who replaced current Paris Saint Germain coach Unai Emery over the summer, had promised attacking football from the Spanish league side.
“Sevilla had a great match, we knew how to compete and adapt at all times to the demands of the game”, Rico was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo. Our objective is to win tomorrow’s game and get through the group.
Dybala added: “I think we have to forget that game and think about the first one we won 2-0”.
Juventus are a team built to fight along with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City to go all the way in the Champions League.
The reigning Italian champs were held to a draw by a gritty Sevilla FC to open their Champions league action.
“There’s no point in thinking about what could happen further down the line”.
“As the media seem to insist Juventus are the favourites for the Scudetto and Champions League, we within the locker room must isolate ourselves from that easy euphoria and knuckle down even more, keeping our psychological balance”.
Sevilla’s visit will be an interesting test for the Serie A champions who have won their first three league matches of the season and are finding little resistance in the domestic Serie A league.
“But the team shouldn’t be too disappointed with this performance”. Only a draw and no goals but very definitely a promising start to this European campaign for Sevilla and their manager.

But that was last season, and this season starts afresh for both teams. Allegri’s men were runners-up in the Champions League in 2015 and have enjoyed one of the most productive transfer-windows in Europe, signing players of the calibre of Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves and Mehdi Benatia.
