Higuain transfer fee ‘worth it’ for Juve – Crespo
It is possible that Crespo may be speaking more favourably about Higuain as a fellow Argentine, or perhaps just as a member of the “strikers union”, as a former Serie A top scorer himself.

Legendary striker Hernan Crespo has given his views on the two biggest transfers of the summer; Paul Pogba to Manchester United and Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus.
“You don’t get anything for free, even less so in football” he told La Nacion.
Speaking to Elite Sport, Pipita said, “I left Real Madrid because I needed to play consistently and so I signed for Napoli”. It’s far more logical than Manchester United paying €110m for Pogba.
Gonzalo Higuain “understands Napoli fans are angry” at his Juventus move, “but it was a fantastic step in my career”.
“With all respect – and he is a great player – goals are what make the difference in world football”.
Higuain, 28, scored 36 times in 35 league games for Napoli last season – the most goals netted in a single Serie A campaign in history.

Higuain faced cruel jibes about his weight after appearing for Juventus during a pre-season friendly against West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium last month, but issued a ideal riposte to his critics by coming off the bench to score the victor as Massimiliano Allegri’s reigning champions opened their latest Serie A title defence with a late 2-1 win over Fiorentina.
