Hillary Clinton back on track as Trump goes shy on health

But the health scare highlighted questions about the transparency of medical health issues for both Clinton and GOP nominee Donald Trump.

When the Democratic nominee stumbled leaving an event honoring the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in NY on Sunday, her campaign initially blamed the heat, saying Clinton had become “overheated”.

US Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has released further information relating to her medical records.

The letter states the Democratic presidential nominee “is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”, said Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s doctor. She also has had several allergy flares over the past year, which has been a typical pattern for most of her life.

Clinton then underwent a CT scan evaluation in March, which showed no abnormalities of the brain and mild chronic sinusitis, and continued symptom-free for the next six months.

The document included a highly specific account of the diagnosis and treatment of Clinton’s bout with pneumonia, including the dehydration that led to her fainting on Sunday.

Clinton plans to return to the campaign trail on Thursday after several days resting at her suburban NY home.

“These numbers suggest she’s a healthy 68-year-old woman with a very favorable cardiovascular risk profile”, said Dr. Mark Creager, director of the Dartmouth-Hitchkock heart and vascular center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and a past president of the American Heart Association.

Clinton has blood pressure of 100 over 70.

The former Secretary of State also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, said the doctor.

Clinton’s doctor declared her healthy.

Bardack said that Clinton had an ear infection in January and is taking medication for hypothyroidism, along with Coumadin, a blood thinner.

Her illness became public after she left 9/11 memorial service.

The letter details the treatment Clinton received in the days before and after Clinton diagnosis of pneumonia on Friday before she fell ill as she left a September 11 memorial. Bardack has evaluated Clinton several times since Sunday. “I don’t know. I don’t think so”.

Clinton’s running-mate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, 58, also released a physician letter on Wednesday. He has never smoked and his alcohol use is “modest”.

Mr Trump, meanwhile, has said he is planning to release details this week of a recent physical. Today, Trump filmed an appearance for tomorrow’s “Dr. Oz Show” to discuss the findings of a recent physical exam but did not reveal much more than his height (6 feet 3 inches) and weight (267 pounds).

In a statement, the show said “Dr. Oz took Mr. Trump through a full review of systems”.

We won’t know all of Dr. Bornstein’s findings until the episode airs on Thursday, but according to audience members Trump has a high testosterone level. His campaign said more information about his health would be made public Thursday.
