Hillary Clinton calls Donald Trump a ‘loose cannon,’ risky choice for president
Sen. Bernie Sanders won Indiana’s primary Tuesday, giving his flagging presidential campaign ammunition to press forward and making plain front-runner Hillary Clinton’s persistent trouble unifying the Democratic Party. Still, only 50 percent of those surveyed said Trump would handle the economy well, compared to 45 percent who said the same of Clinton.

Donald Trump has won the Republican presidential primary in IN, continuing his surge toward clinching the GOP nomination. Clinton angered voters there with a comment earlier this cycle that under her, the nation would “put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business” (though she had also said she wanted to invest more in those communities and help workers find new jobs).
Trump resisted the attack during an interview with Fox News’Sean Hannity on Sunday. Now, it should be noted that Trump might inspire an even greater cause on the other side. “There’s no question about it”.
Clinton countered that same night that “If fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the woman card, then deal me in”.
In the same poll, Ohio Governor John Kasich, who is still in the Republican presidential primary race, defeats Clinton by seven points, getting 51% voter support while Clinton gets 44%.
Conservative blogger and radio host Erick Erickson said Wednesday he’s had a number of conversations about laying the groundwork for a third-party candidate to oppose Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the general election.
Less than a half hour after results began pouring in, Sanders rallied supporters in Louisville, Kentucky, where voters will head to the polls on May 17.
Sanders, meanwhile, is feeling good going into Tuesday’s voting, his spokesman said.
Clinton’s favorability and unfavorability ratings among registered voters were identical at 49 percent.
Clinton still leads the Democrats race with 2,217 votes (pledged: 1704, superdelegates: 513) against Sanders who has a total of 1443 votes (pledged: 1402, superdelegates: 41), according to CNN figures.
As has been the trend throughout much of this campaign, more Indiana Democratic primary voters said Sanders (84 percent) is honest and trustworthy than about Clinton (55 percent).
This signals that Clinton is moving on to the general election, campaigning as if she is the de facto nominee, the TV host said.
