Hillary Clinton Calls Time Off Campaign Trail ‘A Gift’
But Trump didn’t skip a beat, pummeling her economic record and that of President Barack Obama – and releasing new medical records showing the 70-year-old billionaire real estate mogul to be in “excellent physical health”.

The presidential hopefuls are going to pound the pavement in the 10 days to come before their first of three highly anticipated debates on September 26 in NY.
Yesterday, the Democratic candidate had events planned in North Carolina and Washington as she resumed campaigning after a three day break prompted by a bout of pneumonia.
In a move to jump-start momentum, Clinton’s campaign announced yesterday that US Senators Elizabeth Warren of MA and Bernie Sanders of Vermont will campaign for her tomorrow in the battleground state of Ohio. She said in a statement distributed to reporters that the visit “in no way” represented an endorsement of Trump’s candidacy.
“This man wants to be our next president?”
But, in a seeming admission that the former secretary of state is struggling against her unconventional rival, Ms Palmieri admitted that Mrs Clinton’s policy proposals were failing to resonate. “Now, he’s tried to reset himself and his campaign many times”. This is the best he can do.
Clinton, 68, fell ill during a 9/11 memorial ceremony in NY on Sunday and was forced to leave.
Clinton, 68, is healthy and fit to serve as President and is now recovering from non-contagious, bacterial pneumonia, her physician, Dr Lisa Bardack, said in a letter about the Democratic nominee’s medical condition released by the campaign.
The comment was a reference to Trump’s appearance Thursday on The Dr. Oz Show.
Mr Trump’s team released a doctor’s note depicting the 70-year-old as healthy and strong, and giving detailed readings of his cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure and vital organs tests.
While Trump was shown to be slightly overweight, his doctor Harold Bornstein declared the Republican nominee to be “in excellent physical health”.
“Look at the show he put on with Dr Oz today”, she said in Greensboro.
“I’ll never be the showman my opponent is, and that’s okay with me”, she said.
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell revealed distaste for both U.S. presidential candidates, but levelled his most pointed criticism at Republican Donald Trump in hacked emails leaked by a group American intelligence officials suspect is linked to Russian Federation.
Since the beginning of August, a growing portion of Americans have expressed a negative view of Clinton.
“The only thing she can ever offer is a welfare check”, he said.
According to separate polls, Trump has a significant lead over rival Clinton in the crucial battleground states of OH and Florida.
When third party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein were included, the race was tied among likely voters – at 42 percent each – while Clinton had a slight edge (41 to 39 percent) among registered voters. Trump nearly certainly needs to carry the state in order to win the White House, while Clinton’s team is eager to block his path.
A separate poll from JMC Analytics this week found that the Republican also has a four-point lead over Clinton in the swing state of Florida.
But Clinton was not backing down. His latest target is a pastor in Flint, Michigan, who respectfully asked him not to use her pulpit for political attacks. “That’s not only insulting, it’s dead wrong”.
