Hillary Clinton chooses ‘pro-abortion’ Tim Kaine as VP

Sanders, who expressed anger Sunday with the Democratic National Committee after leaked emails revealed party bias and outright conspiring against his presidential campaign, told host Chuck Todd he would have preferred the more liberal Warren.

She said she had no nickname for Donald Trump, despite his repeated use of the derisive term “Crooked Hillary” to refer to her and that she wouldn’t “engage in that kind of insult-fest that he seems to thrive on”. The disclosures prompted the resignation of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on the eve of the party’s convention in Philadelphia, where Clinton is expected to officially accept the nomination for president.

And while Darius Baxter, a delegate from Accokeek, said that Kaine was “an overall good pick”, he was hoping Clinton would have picked a woman. He said there is talk among Sanders’ delegates of walking out during Kaine’s acceptance speech or turning their backs as a show of protest.

“I didn’t know much about Tim Kaine before, but I am impressed with what I’ve seen so far”, she said.

St. Elizabeth’s is a majority black church in Richmond’s Highland Park area.

Wasserman Schultz’s announcement Sunday follows a firestorm over hacked emails suggesting the Democratic National Committee favored Clinton during the primary, despite pledging neutrality.

“We knew they were stacking the deck against Bernie from the get-go, but this type of stuff coming out is outrageous”, he said.

Trump also seized on leaked emails that showed DNC officials questioning Sen.

The selection of Kaine is a retreat from the progressive statements she made during the primary season to compete with Sanders.

The Virginia senator (58) delivered an impressive performance in front of more than 5,000 at Florida International University on Saturday, appearing natural and affable in contrast to Clinton’s often contrived and stilted style on the campaign trail. And there may be more shoes to drop: Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has said US officials expect more cyber threats against the campaigns. “I think that anybody that’s lived in Richmond, whether he was mayor or senator, he’s been the same person all the way through”.

Electing Clinton would not move our country in the direction we need to go: stopping climate change, easing economic inequality, resolving worldwide disputes through means other than war.

Carter de Mayo said there’s a deep, selfless quality to Kaine’s work that makes those around him respect his leadership. Elizabeth Warren. Sanders himself has pointed out the differences between his record and Kaine’s. Bernie Sanders had mixed feelings.

“It was concerning last week that Donald Trump changed the Republican platform to become what some experts would regard as pro-Russian”, Mook said.

There’s a total of 4,763 delegates.

Sanders endorsed Clinton last month but has yet to drop out of the race for the nomination despite not having the number of delegates and superdelegates necessary to secure a win.

More than 5,000 delegates are among the 50,000 people set to be in Philadelphia.

Clinton arrives in Philadelphia with 2,814 delegates to Sanders’ 1,893, according to an Associated Press count.
