With this one brief news conference, Clinton signaled loud and clear: I’ve done this before.

“It’s hard to see how he gets to 270 – Colorado, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Virginia are reaches at this point – but his chances of winning would certainly rise if it looks like he could feasibly make things that close”, Skelley says. “National security experts on both sides of the aisle are chilled by what they’re hearing from the Republican nominee”.

Clinton called the North Korea test “outrageous and unacceptable”, saying she supports imposing additional U.S. and United Nations sanctions.

“ISIS and North Korea’s quest for a nuclear weapon are not entirely unconnected”. Last month, he encouraged gun lovers to assassinate Clinton if she wins in November.

In the same poll, 16 percent of Trump supporters admitted they believed that “whites are a superior race”, while an additional 14 percent said they were “not sure”. The show is also shown on RT America, a Russian-government backed TV outlet.

Trump’s comments Friday night follow his repeated criticism of Clinton as a “corrupt” politician and came moments after his crowd of supporters erupted in chants of “Lock her up!”

For several moments Clinton stood still, shaking her head – then returned to the podium.

He said that debate moderator is going to “try to be really hard on Trump just to show, you know, the establishment what he can do”.

James Woolsey, who has been sharply critical of President Barack Obama’s foreign policy, says he agrees with Trump’s call to spend more on the military.

In a statement Saturday, a day after Clinton said she regards half of Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables”, Reince Priebus said Clinton is showing “her outright contempt for ordinary people”.

Trump concluded his brief remarks speaking to Schlafly, saying, “we will never, ever let you down”.

Clinton was scheduled on Friday to meet with former senior national security officials in NY.

Numerous participants at Friday’s meeting – including former Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, former CIA Director David Petraeus and former director of the National Counterterrorism Center Matt Olsen – served with Clinton in the Obama administration.

He said he “used to think” the Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation were independent, “but that’s obviously not possible because Hillary Clinton is guilty as hell and everybody knows it'”.

“Now, you combine a free pass for Putin on aggressive behaviour and a welcome by ISIS that his language plays right into their hands and will give them more credibility in saying that this is some kind of civilisations war, we’re going to have to undo the damage that he’s already done in the campaign after this election and make it very clear, the USA stands by our word, we stand by our friends and allies”, she said.
