Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump crisscross in Cleveland
Clinton said it was “interesting that this activity has happened around the time Trump became the nominee” and said the Republican nominee’s ties to Putin – including glowing statements – “raises even more serious questions about Trump”. “Just shows you how important OH is”.

“I like them”, Trump said. Earlier in the day, he met with leaders and members of various unions in a Cleveland suburb to discuss immigration and trade, his two signature issues.
Hillary Clinton had a massive coughing fit as she began a Labor Day campaign rally in Cleveland, Ohio.
As he left Cleveland for his next stop in Youngstown, Trump extended a rare invitation to a handful of journalists on his private jet, and said that “on occasion”, he will invite journalists to travel with him.
Trump said at the Mahoning County Fair after exiting his SUV to shake hands with the crowd.
“I think you have an obligation to do the debates”, he said.
Trump told reporters he does plan to take part in all three presidential debates, joking that only a “hurricane” or “natural disaster” would prevent him from attending.
Trump was in Cleveland on Labor Day with Democratic Mayor Tom Coyne, of Brook Park, Ohio, who said he supported Trump in this spring’s Republican primary and would vote for him this fall.
Getting Trump to make that kind of consistent case against Clinton has been a herculean task for much of the campaign.
“He can try to fool voters into thinking somehow he’s not as harsh and inhumane as he seems, but it’s too late”, Clinton said.
Following allegations that Russian Federation was behind a July hack of Democratic National Committee servers, Trump encouraged Russian Federation to locate emails that staffers, deeming them non-work-related, deleted from Clinton’s private server when her emails were handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation during its probe into her use of an unsecure server.
Trump, who was criticized for seeming to have asked a foreign government to spy on the USA, said days after his remarks that he had been “sarcastic”. “It’s exciting. I think it’s pretty cool, don’t you?”
Clinton also warned Trump’s economic policies would cause millions of Americans to lose their jobs.
Clinton, it turns out, cited her failure to remember specific information dozens of times in her interview with FBI agents investigating her use of the private system.
“Hillary Clinton, what’s evident from the notes, what’s evident from all of the revelations over the last several weeks, is that Hillary Clinton- operated in such a way to keep her e-mails, and particularly her interactions while Secretary of State with the Clinton Foundation, out of the public reach, out of public accountability”.
Looking up at the plane, she added, “Looks good, doesn’t it?”
The Democrat nominee has finally allowed the traveling press corps onto her official campaign plane following a tense standoff between her team and the media.
MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell told Richard Liu that she believes Clinton will speak to the press again between campaign stops in OH and IL.

Highlighting the intensity of the fight for battleground states like Ohio, Trump was already on the ground in Cleveland for his own campaign events when Clinton arrived, their planes parking about two football fields apart on the tarmac. Both Clinton and Trump have been locked in an intense back-and-forth throughout the summer.
