Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump locked in tight race in Nevada

A new brain trust in place, Donald Trump on Thursday moved to invest almost $5 million in battleground state advertising as the Republican presidential contender took modest steps to address daunting challenges in the states that will make or break his White House ambitions. The campaign confirmed Thursday it has purchased a $5 million ad buy over a 10-day period in battleground states: Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina.

At a community college in Cedar Rapids, the Democratic vice presidential nominee questioned why Trump has not released his tax returns. Fewer than one in four Clinton or Trump supporters expect their candidate to be a great president while more decisively predicting the worst about the opposing candidate: 72% of Trump supporters say Clinton would be awful, while 83% of Clinton backers said that of Trump.

In a statement, the collective said the hope is that Trump “is never installed in the most powerful political and military position in the world”.

Fake letters, fake images, fake medical records – the whole thing is fake, and the disinformation campaign about it on conservative media and social media, from Sean Hannity to Twitter, has gone on since Clinton’s 2012 concussion and ramped up since the presidential race began.

The ad then plays clips of Republicans speculating on what could be inside Trump’s returns. “A new America, looking toward the future”, Conway said of the ads. But it’s worse for Trump, and compared with the billionaire, the perceptions of dishonesty the public has of Clinton appears to be an attribute many Americans are willing to live with. “A great many people will vote for her because they can’t stand voting for Donald Trump. Voters know if you’re comfortable in your own skin”. “Because they’re the ones that are ultimately going to decide the election”.

“Polls, most of them”.

First lady Michelle Obama, whose Democratic convention speech dazzled Republicans and Democrats alike, is expected to make campaign appearances this autumn.

The Republican White House nominee, who is tanking in swing states, hired a news executive from a virulently anti-Clinton website as his campaign chief executive and promoted a leading Republican strategist to campaign manager. “Those states are critical on that pathway”.
