Biden and Clinton had planned to campaign together here before last month’s Democratic National Convention but their rally was postponed because of the deadly police shooting in Dallas.
Biden, too, turned to Trump toward the end of his remarks. They both said Trump can not be entrusted with the nuclear codes, with Biden describing Trump as having “unbounded” cynicism toward national security.
