Hillary Clinton fields awkward questions on ‘Between Two Ferns’

The Hangover star jabbed, “Oh, right, because you were saying before we were rolling that you wanted to take away everyone’s guns”.

“I’d love to meet the person who makes your pantsuits”.

Galifianakis asks Clinton amusing, inane, ridiculous questions in a low-key, dry-witted yet hilarious “interview”. Galifianakis asks. “Like himself?”

Clinton suggested the comedian should get out more.

Our only question is, who in Hillary’s campaign really thought that this would work out well for her?

He continued down the same path. “You need to get out more”. “Are we going to be stuck with Tim Kaine for nine months?” he asked. How does this work?’ the comedian asked.

At one point, Clinton talked about the double standard of critiquing women’s fashion choices in public settings. She said instead, she would fight to save America from demise.

Of course, it was all in the name of fun, as Clinton was a guest on Funny Or Die’s “Between Two Ferns” with deadpan jokester Zach Galifianakis.

With the November 8 election around the corner and the race with Mr Trump tightening, Mrs Clinton’s appearance on the show came ahead of the first presidential debate on Monday.

“Or maybe a white power tie”, Galifianakis said.

To which Clinton awkwardly responds while looking extremely unhappy.

Clinton’s changing views on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, emails, attendance at Trump’s wedding and health – the misspelled chyron introducing Clinton simply read “had pneumonia” – were all on the table. Bernie Sanders was against, but then decided she was against it.

Clinton: No, I wouldn’t take up arms. “I don’t think he has thick enough skin”, Aukerman told Politico. “Lose. [Then the] country goes to the s**t”.

Despite the atmosphere of tension during the interview, the New York Times reports that Scott Aukerman, director and producer of Clinton’s episode, stated that the presidential candidate was more than happy to do the show.

Galifianakis also made sexist remarks about Clinton’s stint as secretary of state, questioning her typing skills and wondering how President Barack Obama likes his coffee.

“Not a smart move”, Clinton said.

The host also interrupted the interview to play a Donald Trump ad.

Galifianakis’ sheepish reply: “He paid me in steaks”.

‘It’s a good cut of meat. He then wrapped up the exchange by telling Mrs. Clinton the two should stay in touch.
